	Home [December 2007] We wanted to let you all know the outcome of our special request for funding for a brand new water delivery system. With the help of some very generous donations we have made our goal of $4,000 for the new system. This water delivery system is being designed to bring water from the front of the ranch in a dedicated line to the rest of the ranch. This will be a separate metered system that will have much larger capacity than running hoses to water tanks. It will also allow for fire suppression. We are partnering with Horizon Supply in the design and supply end (they are donors as well) and will enlist the assistance of the Bend Fire Dept and with luck Avion Water to help stretch your donations even more. Another one of our priority needs is a rescue trailer. We found one last night at Trailer World in Tumalo and will be purchasing it today...it is a rare find in Central Oregon and it is a great deal....a 2-horse stock trailer with a tack room that is convertible to a stall that makes it a 3-horse. We are very pleased that you all have committed to the vision of BARR. It's very humbling to ask for and receive your hard earned support and without it we could not function. The ranch is logging over 300 hours per month in volunteer time and as many as 500 during peak summer months (actually, April thru November).
