Born – 1994
BEN was brought to BARR with a suspected kissing spine syndrome, common in athletes. Currently he’s doing fine with no visible signs of injury. After 9 months in 2008 with adoptive owners their situation changed and they returned BEN to BARR.Weight 1,160 pounds16.2 hh Chestnut-Thoroughbred-Gelding

Sound, Arabian gelding.
Frosty
Born 1984, arrived at BARR December 15, 2005, weight 807, 14hh, Arabian gelding.
Frosty was found tied to a tree by a hunter just passing by, apparently abandoned and left to die in the Ochoco National Forest. He has a large calcium deposit on his right front knee

Born – 1982, Arrived at BARR – Oct 23, 2006 Weight – 875 pounds
Fire’s owner died in September of 2006. She was then adopted from BARR where she was a Pasture Pal for another horse. THEN, her new owner had an on the job injury and couldn’t work so she returned her to BARR.
Appaloosa – Mare
Paris, arrived 10-24-07, 700 lbs
Available for adoption. She is 20 ish years old. She is a doll, any one can ride her. She needs special food grass pellets/beet pulp soaked to mush.
